Job Description:

Central Bank of India, a leading Public Sector Bank, invites applications from Indian Citizens for appointment of Probationary Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale I. The details are given below:-

1. The Post wise & Scale wise break up of vacancies is as under: -

Name of the Post: 01. Probationary Officers
Category: Mainstream , Scale: JMG Scale-I, No. of Posts: 500.

2. Details of Reservation are as under : -
Post Code - 01: Scale:Scale-I, SC-75, ST-40, OBC-135, GEN-250, Total-500.

Age Limit : 21 years - 30 years as on 01.04.2010.

Scales of Pay: Rs.10,000-470/6-12820-500/3-14320-560/7-18240.

Qualification :
A Graduate from a recognized university with 55% Marks aggregate (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
Basic knowledge on Computer applications (Certificate from a reputed/recognized Training Institute, acceptable to Bank is required).

Selection Procedure :
Selection will be on the basis of Written Test and/or Group Discussions, Interview depending on the number of applications received for each post. Merely satisfying the eligibility norm does not entitle a candidate to be called for Written Test / GD / Personality Test / Interview. The Bank reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates for the GD / Interview after preliminary screening / short-listing with reference to candidates qualifications, suitability, experience, etc.

The written test will be held on 25.07.2010 . at the following centers (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Pune, Raipur and Tiruchirapalli.)

Rs. 300/- per application. (Rs. 25/- as postal charges only for SC/ST/PWD candidates.) Requisite Fees is to be deposited in any CBS branch of Central Bank by Fee Payment Receipt. Original Reciept should be keep carefully and should be produced at the time of written test.
