Job Designation : Head of Strategy, Information and Performance in grade of SVP
Qualification : University degree or MBA in a relevant discipline such as business, information technology or related or accounting.
Experience : 15 Years
At least 15 years general insurance industry experience anywhere in the world.Demonstrated understanding of general insurance financial management.
Highly desirable experience
Some international general insurance industry experience gained outside Asia
Experience across various general insurance verticals such as underwriting, claims, operations, distribution – both commercial and retail classes of business
General insurance industry involvement at a senior level in any or all of the following – corporate strategy development, information/data management, complex project management and/or major IT
implementations
IT systems experience in relation to data and information capture and management
Experience in dealing with Boards
Excellent written (published) and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated understanding of the wider economic and government issues affecting the Indian General Insurance industry
Key Responsibility of the Role :
Strategy & Planning – Facilitating the preparation, maintenance and updating of strategies and plans across the Company to a high standard and consistency. This role includes the establishment of strategy and planning processes and templates, undertaking industry and competitor analysis, assessment of new initiatives within strategic plans and integration of budgets and non-financial goals;
Performance Reporting – Establishing a senior management reporting suite for monitoring business performance. This role would include the identification, design and delivery of the system generated senior management reporting suite;
Enterprise Information Management – Implementing the Information Management plan, developing information management policies, processes and procedures, overseeing the role of the Information Management Custodians and the Information Management Team, assessing data quality and reporting thereon.
Enterprise Program/Project Management – Establishing the SBI General program/project management function. This function will create processes and procedures, carry out training where required, as well as design and implement templates, governance, reporting and monitoring for project management across the Company. It will also lead major cross functional projects.
